Another easy craft project comin’ atcha– a small, yet super sweet Christmas ornament:
WHAT YOU NEED
Small sewing hoops
Scrap fabric: I used muslin.
Fine Sharpie Pen
Oh, and you’ll need a kid to scribble for you…
Quick, easy, and kind of adorable. Maybe not to anyone else because they are literally just scribbles, but I think anything Mya touches is gold, so we will undoubtedly have these forever. (Did you know when you have a kid, you instantly become a hoarder of craft projects? Now you know.) Could be great to add to the top of a wrapped gift too!
You could do even more– add some puff paint, plastic jewels, paint the hoop rings, finger prints, actually sew (what?!- don’t be crazy, Ashley!); but I like the simplicity of my lil’ 2 year old’s handiwork with just one marker. She proudly proclaimed “I made it, I made it!” as she pointed to them on the tree.
We went to Bass Pro Shops’ Santa’s Wonderland with Grandpa and Grandma today. Mya was a bit skeptical of the guy, but she’ll do anything for a sucker… or candy cane.
