How can we be more exhausted after the weekend than when it started… when we were basically home the whole time? I’ll chalk it up to being outside for the majority of it and two Easter egg hunts that lasted about five minutes each. Since we’re going to be visiting family next weekend, we thought we’d spread out the joy and not cram it all into one day. Because we all know how that would turn out: anxious for the fun-filled day, Easter egg hunt, open all the eggs, toss aside everything but the candy, sugar high, “I’m not hungry for real food at dinner,” huge fit, and crash. Which is what happened today and will inevitably happen next weekend too. These kids can be so predictable. 😉
Changed the girls’ clothes over from winter to spring. Ok, you got me– this is not one of my favorite things to do and the winter clothes are still sitting on the stairs waiting to be packed away.
In lieu of candy inside their Easter eggs, we put beads. Because let’s face it– Leah could care less and Mya lives for the next craft project.
Just added this project book to my amazon cart because we love the book collection so much!
Used this bean bag filler to revive ours. The tricky part was filling it up. After spilling the beans everywhere, we got smarter and used a poster board as a funnel.
Ranunculus is my new favorite flower. Don’t ask me how to pronounce it, but it’s my new fave. Speaking of flowers, Rifle Paper Co. has 50% off phone cases right now. (I think the sale ends tomorrow.)
Took approximately 327 pictures between Derek and myself over the weekend, but this is the only one with both girls looking at the camera. It’s also the one where Mya is awkwardly holding an egg.
